Amp ratings

So this has always somewhat baffled me...I am going to be running dual amps, one for mids and highs and one for lows...the amps are both AB and both have 75 amp fuses...so am I right to assume I am really going to need 150 amps outside of current needed to run the other electronics...considering with both amps together I am only looking at 1100 watts rms this seems a little extreme even for class AB... Do I need to go ahead and place my order for that HO alt, or are those amps not going to pull that much...

Add another HC1400, and you'll be fine, no HO alt needed for 2000

Think I should run a battery isolator or just parallel it right onto the one under the hood?

I would only isolate it if there was a huge difference in the batteries, but since (hopefully) they'll be the same model, I don't see much of a point, unless you're starting to notice they're going dead.

Ok sounds good one more question because I am rather new at the multiple batteries thing...how exactly should I mount it, I mean seems a little lacking to just sit it down back there...

some people build little boxes, some people wedge them back there, if you have room under the hood, you could have both under there. Just see where you can fit it, and secure it however you want to.

I was talking to my dad about batteries too!

So instead of doing anything with the car. Like keep everything stock. Also, without the big 3 upgrade. Would you say I should put a battery in? cause The stuff im sticking in my car is probably not a good choice haha
