How so?

I get paid 50.5 cents per mile to drive my car. With the mpg I get and the $3.30 per gallon it averages out to about $10 per gallon

Seriously, they should make it really low, or really high. The need to quit beating around the bush and just make gas $25 a gallon. Only then I believe or government would lead to better fuel sources.

Now about alternative fuel. Ethanol. This is another problem which I have heard on the new recently. More farmers are harvesting corn for Ethanol use, rather then wheat. This makes flour prices skyrocket. It all has to be a balance. Ethanol IMO is the not the best alternative fuel.

There IS technology out there that can separate the hydrogen gas out of water, and that can be used to power a car. This would be the best IMO. At this time, there is not enough funding to make it efficient. If we (the government) would invest money to the studies of that, it would help a LOT. But again, that brings me to the point of water being taxed, or something else being taxed because of it.

they can legalize and tax mary jane, that should make up for the gas taxes they receive. I mean i think our country smokes enough of it and im sure they could tax it high and still have buyers

i have worked everyday since the 1st and dont have a day off until the 31st, so 30 days straight averaging 50 miles per day

I would think it is easier to grow weed than tobacco or distilling alcohol.

I wouldn't know. I have not done any of them. I do know that going to the store is easier than all of those though.

Part of the reason why I want my own home is to grow vegetables so I can get them at lower prices and higher quality....

At out economy, and it's downfall. And just think, 90% of the reason is because of the oil companies. And they just can't be changed. As a single citizen we can't do a damn thing about it. And yet all we can do is just fucking live through it, and pay the damn prices. It just pissed me off.

I'm actually loving it (no disrespect intended). The last time I saw the Canadian dollar so high I couldn't even go to the candy store alone...
