yes, it does blow major ***, but what is done is done i guess, shock set in nearly immediatly...it hurt major the next two weeks though. It has been 20 days. i am dealing with it.
it was way to mangled and to far down, i have had that phantom pain thing, it doesn hurt, it is just the nerves, they say it may never go away.

Dude, I'm sorry about that. I bet that's somewhat difficult to deal with but it sounds like you are handling it very well. I know I'd probably still in be shock.

I nearly lost the pinky on my right hand in a dirtbike accident back in April... Shredded one of the tendons so now I can't bend it completely, but at least I still have it. Big *** scar, though.

I guess I know somewhat how you feel. You're right about the shock thing -- as soon as it happenned, I wasn't even aware I had nearly cut it off. I was just checking out my arm because I thought I had a few scratches on it, and when I caught site of the bone in my finger I nearly freaked out. I didn't really feel any pain until after I got home from the hospital, but when I did, YOU KNOW it was some pain. I was poppin pills nonstop.

when you lose a limb and that "limb" hurts. it isn't there though, so how does it have pain in it?

Sometimes I won't even have my phone on me but I think I feel it vibrating in my pocket!
