I could use some help!

Ok, so here's what I have....kenwood double din, alpine 500w mono to RF p3 shallow mount 400w dvc on a pro box under seat quad cab ram.

So it sounded fine for first few days then started cutting out at higher volumes. I was thinking since i was running it in 4 ohms instead of 2, that I may have messed up the sub. So I ran in 2 ohm but doing the same thing. I've checked all my wiring many times. The sub is about 4 days old. Amp about a year old.

 
check ur subs with a multi metter. if they are d2 they will read .2 if d4 then .4 and if they read other than that then ur coils are messed up. OR you need a power supply other than ur 1st batt
