I could use some help!

Ok, so here's what I have....kenwood double din, alpine 500w mono to RF p3 shallow mount 400w dvc on a pro box under seat quad cab ram.

So it sounded fine for first few days then started cutting out at higher volumes. I was thinking since i was running it in 4 ohms instead of 2, that I may have messed up the sub. So I ran in 2 ohm but doing the same thing. I've checked all my wiring many times. The sub is about 4 days old. Amp about a year old.

check ur subs with a multi metter. if they are d2 they will read .2 if d4 then .4 and if they read other than that then ur coils are messed up. OR you need a power supply other than ur 1st batt

now of course if u have them wired differently then itll read what u have them currently wired at. if u dont get what ur supposed to be reading then pull the wires off the amp take ur subs out of the box and check ur coils one by one.

yeah one of the coils, the original one that was hooked up alone was reading eratic, the other reading 1.8-2.0
