I can not figure this out!

I have two JL Audio 12" subs with a pioneer amplifier. Recently when i was on a road trip i was listing to music and my subs suddenly stopped hitting. I have checked the RCA cords, the power cord, the ground wire, the speaker wires (connecting amp to box and box to speakers), i have also checked all fuses, the remote wire, and pretty much all other possiblitys. I know the subs are not blown and still they just wont hit! Please help

Does the amp powerup? Maybe the amp is done. Can you try putting the box on a different car to see if the subs are still good and also putting a different box on the amp..To check the same.

how old are the subs? what model? I just pulled my 12W4 out and discovered the tinsel lead had shorted where it attaches to the VC... unfortunately I didnt catch it soon enough... have you pulled the subs and checked the term connections? ... just some ideas.

It is doubtful that both subs went at the same time. As asked above, does the amp power on at all? Have you checked the voltage on the power and remote or did you just look to see if they were connected?

I see you are in the Boro. I am only a few miles from there myself. If it comes down to it I could take a look at it for you.

I know a good bit about this and i just cant figure it out. Yes the amp is getting power. The subs are fine they are JL W1's. It has got to be a wire issue. Amp gets power, wires and fuses are fine. I just bought a new amp, it configures with my subs and i checked all the wires.

you check the wires how? by lookin at em? change em out.
