i just bought the premier 740mp for 250 off of the zeb.

anyone have any experience with this HU?

any bad things to say about it?

someone want to completey trash it and hurt my feelings really bad?

i believe im getting myself one in a few days when i sell my alpine....so no bad comments from me. i do have a question though. i know it has al those fancy screensavers and such...but is there any setting where you can just have a plain background, because i thikn the screensaver always moving might get annoying.

Yeah, there's a couple settings with not so much movement, the color reverse "demo" feature can be turned off, and there;s an option to just have text with no background.

I'm very pleased with mine.

I had the 740mp and it was awesome till it was stolen, then the audio store was like the alpine is better which I admit is clearer however I find the pre-outs are horrible i have to crank the gains... I am thinking I should have kept the pioneer... soo now i am in the hunt for Low Level Gain to boost is from 2VOLT RMS to like 4VOLT RMS instead of the 4VOLT MAX it has now that way I don't have to crank my amp gains up and won't run so hot....

Eh, silver colors might stand out, you can change the screen to just be numbers rather than the rotating screen saver stuff. The face is removable, and pretty small. Thezeb.com has a best price guarantee which can be used to match or beat any other price. In my case, I invoked that to bring the HU down from like $269 to $227.99. yeah but ikesounds doesnt have the 740mp anymore, so does anybody else know an authorized website that has it for cheaper then $250 so i can contact thezeb about it?

i take that back...i guess ikesound still does carry it. i emailed thezeb last night and got a responce early this morning saying $222.99 + 6.95 shipping which is a great price so i went ahead and ordered it. everybody that wants this HU...you should do this, it's cheaper then ebay and probably the most trusted, quickest shipping, best customer service site on the web.
