Bc they're sealed batteries dumbass. Thats what they do, they dont leak. I've seen some of the questions and advice you give. I think you need to take a step back and just read a little more before talking with grown folks.

I've used these on their sides in the past without issue. Will keep an eye on them.

ive got a pair of d3100s in the spare well of my tib. its a bit tight but it all works out well. i couldnt get to my spare with out it being an hour working my brass off so i figured fvck it
