FEATURED Hyundai Cilantro.. I mean Elantra!

Since I removed my "decent" phone charger from the car to use in the work truck I had to order a new one for the car. I went with the ANKER brand for the charger and cable. Specifically the ANKER Powerdrive III with PowerIQ 3.0. She's a dual USB C charger and yes, it rapid charges my phone. The cable is the ANKER Bio Braided fast charge cable. 3ft.

I tuck the cable in the crack between the dash and radio bezel from the bottom where the charger is up and above the radio and leave enough exposed to plug into the bottom of the phone when it is on it's phone mount above the radio. Good quality charger and cable, decent prices considering it fast charges.

I thought I blew my horn so I ordered another one. This time instead of a single 18" horn I got two smaller horns. 8" and 11". I was able to hard mount this one. I ziptied the wires after I used electrical and tesa tape on them. Once it was all back together you can't see a thing through the grill. Horns are facing down so I shouldn't have to worry about water and ice plus the sound will bounce off the ground like exhaust turn downs! My old horn is fine, turns out the ground wire came out of the relay harness. I fixed it and all connection and made them much tighter, more secure.

Taking the day off Friday, payday. Why? Rear struts. Alignment. Front brake rotors and pads. I am driving around right now, ass saggin, brake rotors grinding and all I wanna do is buy some stereo stuff, an HO alternator but NOOOOO, I gotta repair and replace car parts. Oh and dig this, took off the engine cover, found my minor oil leak. The ENTIRE leading edge of my valve cover. If she keeps this **** up I will trade her ungrateful ass in on an American car.

Deff . have to keep vehicle maintenance up man. If the vehicle is not taken care of when things wear out, It usually ends up being very expensive.
Im not sure there is actually a 100% American Made vehicle any longer.
Id opt. out for a Camery , or Accord myself.

I keep up the maintenance pretty well... for some reason all these things showed themselves all at the same time. I'll fix them though.

Alright!! Struts are installed and so are the front rotors and pads. Car is driving much better. I am going back in a month for 4 new tires, a lifetime alignment and free oil change.

The morning started out for ****. Nobody showed up for my 9am appointment so I had to call another location who kindly had me come to them and even though I had to wait like 5 hours they got my struts done. I bought my rotors and pads before my original 9am appointment and they only had 1 rotor so I had to go all the way back to them to get the rotor after the store to store transfer. My front brakes only took me 10min a side. So easy to do. The pads are bedded in and stopping the car beautifully. The ass is no longer sagging and I can take some corners at much higher speeds. Total... $550ish. + $6 for Starbucks, + $7 for Wendy's, + $11 for McDonald's. I was out so I had to get fast food.

Is there a BT, USB or other AUX option? May be time to convert your CDs to a solid sate option and use it until you replace the init altogether.
