HX2 or Type R?

which would be better? a type R or HX2?

Are you referring the the punch or power hx2? And I am assuming you are referring to the newest Type R?

are u talking about the type R. we use SQ (sound quality) and SPL (sound pressure level....i think....well n e ways this is when it gets really loud) the type are has amazing SQ, but does not really lack on the spl

the POWER hx2, is basically the same sub w/ a bigger magnet im guessing. It just handles more RMS and whatnot- but still even the normal HX2 pounds, I have 2 of them and they bump hard as shit. Hit lows MUCH harder than my 2007 type e's, although i never had type r's!!

the punch/power question is VERY relevant. If it were the punch HX2, I'd say go with the type-r. If its the power Hx2, take the power HX2 anyday

i am with the grestestpenn on this one also. the punch to the type r go with the r, but the power to the type r go with the power hx2's. they are the older brother of the t2 subs that rockford has now. i had 2 in my trunk just a few weeks ago with 2000watts shooting in to each of them and man did these bad boys pound for some 10's given the right box and amount of power i would go with these subs.

i am looking for a recone kit for one of mine anybody know where i can get one.

where could I find a pair of the power Hx2's? whats the price tag on them?
