HU Sub-Out help

Hey guys I just brought a new HU and it said it came with a SUB-OUT connector so I thoght great I can plug in my small 10' without having to get an amp, So I got home and unpackaged it and to my surprise the sub-out cable was a female RCA joint, completely seperate from the rest of the cables like in the top corner, so I attached a male plug to my + and - out of my sub, Hooked everything up and it does'nt work ive tried everything and nothing works, please help and dont tell me I have to buy an amp! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif , oh and btw it has 4 other RCA output and inputs, how can I hook up my sub?

The reason all you found was a set of RCA preouts is because that is what is meant by a SUB OUT.

It is a set of outputs dedicated purely for connection to the amp that drives your sub(s)

Any subwoofer worthy of being called a subwoofer needs considerably more power than any head unit can provide it, friend. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif The simple answer is exactly what you do not want to hear.....you need an amp.

Dude , the RCA's are LOW LEVEL outputs made to be connected to an amp NOT to drive speakers . LOL Dont run it this way , you might damage the HU .
