You can't get me
Hi

I;m trying to install a radio in a friends 02 Isuzu Rodeo, the problem is that the wire in the factory harness don't match the ones in the speakers, i try to connect then to every cable individually but i can't make the spealers to sound.

Someone have had this problem or have hear of it. Please give some advice, i just don't know what else to do and i don't want to run new wires to speakers.

Thanks.

im pretty new, dont know if this will solve your problem, but wire:

blue(white line)>blue(white line) remote

red>red accessory

black>black ground

yellow>yellow battery

front speakers-

white>white

white(black line)>white(black line)

rear speakers-

green>green

green(black line)>green(black line)

front speakers-

gray>gray

gray(black line)>gray(black line)

rear speakers-

purple>purple

purple(black line)>purple(black line)

if you have two browns thats the mute, just wire em. anything else just tape off. and if you have more than 1 yellow, wire them together and wire the red ones to the yellow ones and see if that works because it did on mine.

Thanks for the help, but my problem are not the wire in the HU, the problem is that the wires in the factory harness dont match the ones in the speakers, when i hock up the new HU i get no sound on any speakers a try each individual and possible conection for speakers but none of it works.

I didn't try the HU direct to an speaker but i get voltage in my DMM.

The car may have an OEM amp. if so the wires at the HU would go to the amp and then to the speakers... if this is the case one of three things is happening.... 1.you did not wire up the remote turn on for the amp correctly. 2. the input from the new HU is to much for the amp and the amp fried. 3. same as last but instead of frying the amp went it to some kind of protect.

I am just thrown ideas out ... I have never worked on these cars so i really cant say for sure.

Thanks, the factory amp should be the one, the amp is fine, cause i put back the OEM radio until i find out what is happening. I'll look in that direction.

Thanks.
