Don't know that I've ever seen a head unit that wasn't fused from the factory...

Now it's been a long time since I saw one that had a fuse inline in a power wire. All the ones I have seen recently (including my own) have the fuses built into the rear of the chassis immediately next to wherever the wiring harness attaches to the deck but they were fused nonetheless.

i'm attempting my first installation tomorrow. so bare with me.

i ask this because my HU was fused. i'm not sure if it was the constant or remote wire. but i specifically remember my installer fusing it.
