the stock unit im my scion did this when i turned lights on i guess it was the car telling the hu its dark outside to drop brightness
so i just noticed on my eclipse ddin dvd unit the same is happening as in when i turn on my lights the units brigthness dims some
now before i pull the unit out and check the 12v constant and 12v ignition wires what else could casue the headunit to know the lights are on when the only wires in the harness i hooked up are 12v, 12v constant, ground and the speakerwires??
im sure if i hooked up a wire to the lights as a signal to the hu that im turning the lights on and off but i didnt so all i can think of is the hu gets a dropped 12v or 12v constant when i turn the lights on which if so ill run a new 12v from the battery direct and sue it and a relay to feed the radios 12v and ignition 12v supply //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
