HTIB options?

OK its been almost a year since I got my new TV, 37 Dell LCD. now its time for home theater. I have been looking at 2.1 systems.

Was looking at the Bose 3-2-1, good sound but overpriced IMO. I then started reading some reviews on the Denon-s301 which every one sems to like. I am a fan of surround but dont want run a 5.1 with wires going everywhere.

A friend of mine has the Yahama ysp-800 which is basically a center stage with 21 or so micro speakers and uses the walls to bounce sound off of. Really didnt care for it due to the fact that you must be sitting right in front of it or else it dosnt sound all that good.

The review I read over at Cnet on the denon said that it was the best Simulated surround the have heard to date.

I ofton listin to ***** Siberian orchestra and looking for good sound with there type of instrumentals. (Dont know if you guys have heard them or not)

Dont know if i am asking too much out of a 2.1. IM looking for suggestions or opnions.

what kind of budget?

HTIB 99% of the time sucks or is overpriced, especially bose..

do you plan to stick with 2.1 or in the future upgrade to more speakers and go to 5.1? also any brands you prefer say pioneer,yamaha,denon,onkyo? (for receivers)

In the future I will probly upgrade to a 5.1 and move the 2.1 to the bedroom. As for brands not really preferable to any one brand. I do like the looks of the denon. As for the speakers they will mont on the wall so Looks is a little important.

Why not build a decent 2.1 component system now, and then go to 5.1 at a later date?
