Im going to list my gear and I want a rating on a scale from 1-10 rating it based on quality and SQ.

Brains: Alpine CDA-9887 with KCE-422i iPod adapter, KTP-445 Power Pack adapter, KTX-100EQ Imprint, and 8Gb iPod Touch

Front tweeters: Morel made Xtant 28mm's

Front mids: Eclipse SC6500's

Front crossover: Eclipse SC6500 2 way network. Active this summer

Substage: Audiomobile Evo 10" in 1.1 cubes sealed with 10 ounces poly fill

Amp: Eclipse XA5000, a very under rated 420@2 on the sub, and 50x4@4 on the front stage this summer active.

Deadener: 120sq ft of Second Skin Damp Pro and SPL tiles

Power is Stinger Custom Pro 4 gauge, RCA's are 3 pairs of Fosgate RFI16's.

Total for the entire setup: $983 for everything including the iPod touch. Everything is in 100% mint condition. If you want to include the cost of my backup EA3532 then I spent $1043 on all of it.

Its all personal preference and opinion. Id rather let my kids keep their hearing.

I thought so too. From what I was able to find the XA5000 was a $700 amp alone new when it first came out.
