99 Civic EX Coupe

Front stage- 6.5 Infinity Kappa Perfect Comps (will be in deadened front doors and sail panels)

Sub- 1- Infinity Kappa Perfect 10d VQ (will be in sealed fiberglass enclosure)

Amp- Infinity Reference 7541a (111 rms x2 on Kappa Perfect comps, 278 rms on Kappa Perfect Sub)

I mainly listen to Classic Rock, Alternative and Hip-Hop. I like clean, smooth bass and clear high-end sound.

Would this do it for me? Also, do I need rear-fill?

I was worried about that as well. I am going to build a fiber enclosure and the 12 will play in 1 cubic foot so the space isn't a big deal. Do you think the 12 will hit with 278 watts?

The RMS on that Infinity Sub is 400 watts. They should sound real nice with 400-500 watts on it. It should be fine on 278 though if thats all you have. But u would be really satisfied if you gave them between 400-500 watts.

i'd go with a single 12 insted of a 10, one of my friends has a single 10inch kappa in a 93 civic 4dr and you can barely hear the thing
umm install? haha you can hear any single 10 inch sub in any car. i just put one 10 inch perfect in a 2dr cavy and hits around 120
