I generally use EAC in secure mode to download the CD in FLAC (#8) to my G:\TempFLAC Folder. Even though it goes at around 4x, I like knowing that track quality was at least 97% (bare minimum). Once that it is done, I run a foobar2k mass conversion on those FLAC files to convert to a Q5 Vorbis file, and store ironically, in my G:\MP3 folder. My G:\MP3 folder structure is
G:\MP3\Classics (for oldschool R&B, Soul, and Funk)
G:\MP3\R&B
G:\MP3\Rap
G:\MP3\Real_Music (for Jazz, Blues, and Ethnic genres)
G:\MP3\Other (for everything else, e.g., songs like "Sweet Dreams are made of...")
G:\Classical (gets its own folder outside of \MP3\ since \MP3\ is actually stuff I listen to. I have to really want to listen to classical.)
Once I have about 4 gigs in FLAC, I burn those to a DVD and delete off the hard drive.
Hard drive is 80GB (80*10^9 bytes) that does not seem to be very dependable.
