How well would this setup be??

Kenwood Excelon KAC-X812D (1000)+ 1? stable &

Two Alpine Type-R 12" DVC4ohm (wired for 1 ohm load)

Sealed custom fiberglass enclosure, (1 per sub) In the trunk of a vw passat

Would this be a decent set up? Any suggestions.

the real question is how well the equipment will like a 1 ohm load... i have not used either the amp or the subs you have but, if i were you i would check around and see how the amp especially likes the 1 ohm load...

otherwise as long as the box is good it will sound good...
