How to wire up subwoofer

I recently just purchased a single Kicker Solo-Baric 06S10L72 which is a 2ohm subwoofer. I currently have a Boss C700 amp. I know its not the best or a middle class amp but i had this amp for about 4 years now and it is still going strong. So my question is how would i wire the sub to the amp. Will i have to do anything special like running parallel, in a series,etc? and if anyone has any amp recommendations for the kicker l7 please tell me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Your options are series for 4 ohm or parallel for 1 ohm.
