Well i know how to hook up amps and all that but i came across something new.

My setup

Alpine 6 1/2s

Alpine 4 channel mrp 450

kicker cvx 12" ported box

jvc shx850 cd player

and the amp in question Audiopipe ap-8001d

yellow top

basically im gonna be running my amp at 800wrms at 1 ohm but the amp doesnt have any external fuses at all, it did come with a 80amp anl fuse with a fuse holder all brand new in box. i was wondering if i can run a bigger fuse (anl 130amps) up front by the battery to compensate for the alpine and the audiopipe and then use the distribution block with agu fuses one 80 amps (audiopipe) and another 50 amp(alpine 25x2 on amp). would this be the correct way of wiring it??? also what size wiring should i use and i don't need a ho for this setup right. thanks for any input

If you only have one battery, you really only need the fuse up front to be matched to the max current of the amps combined. So say your amps are rated at 50A max each, then you have a total of 100A max. You could fuse the front lead at the battery for that amount. If you are using a fused distro, there is no need to have an additional inline fuse between the amp and distro.
