you should try to run it a 1 ohm depending on what amp you get. amps that are 1 ohm stable or a lot cheaper than amps that do the same wattage but are 4 ohms. btw you cant run that sub at 2 ohms unless you get another one, or only power one voice coil and that could damage it.

if he wants it at 1 ohm it works

not if its a dual voice coil

you combine both positives and put it in the positive receiver, then combine both negatives and put them in the negative receiver.
