Bridge 1 and 2 and bridge 3 and 4, make sure that your amp is stable to the impedence you will run it at. If it is stable at 2 ohms per channel then bridged its only 4 ohm stable. Are your subs DVC or single, and are the 4 ohm Dual voice coil or 2 ohm dual voice coil? 4 ohm single or 8 ohm single? Let meknow and then I can help u out more.

the thing with my subs is i got them from an old friend and i dont really have any info on them. there Blau 12s, im guessing an older model of some kind. do you know of any websites where i could find some info on something like that? cuz other wise i have no idea of teh ohms of if there dvc and stuff like that.

yes it is then, is taht how most subs are? and how should i wire this then? i have a 200x4 boss amp. and another weird thing about it is when i had it bridged, when i would turn up the bass boost it would only work for the sub connected to channels 3 and 4?????? any help would be appreciated.

Many newer amps have a switch that you swap from multi channel mode to bridged mode. My guess is that you had the switch for channels 3 and 4 to bridged mode and not the switch for bridge on channels 1 and 2. If your subs are single voice coil chances are they are 4 ohms each so your amp should operate safely at 4 ohms bridged per channel. Look on your amp for the bridging switch I'm talking about and see what it is set on.

if it has a bridge switch itd be right on the same side as the gains and everything else is too right? cuz dont think it has one otherwise. if i bridged 1 and 3 and 2 and 4 would that make the bass boost work for both or cant i do that? im jsut so confused its a brand new amp and its not workin worth a ****. u dont think my sub wires cold be hooked up wrong to teh inside of teh box and that would cause it to shut off do you?

the AVIC was a tad more complicated to wire not to mention stuffing it in a smallish stereo hole. thanks for advice.

Drill a hole and use the proper protective split loom and hole grommets to keep the outer speaker jacket from knicks and cuts, give just enough...

It mostly comes down to weight. You can have a super lightweight cone, soft suspension and aluminum coil on a sub and you pretty much get a pro...
