how to safely disconnect subwoofer?

For those times I need my trunk. I'm wondering how the best way to safely do it is. Disconnect sub speaker wires and tape them up? Disconnect sub amp rcas?

just remove the wires from the amp

Yea, if there aren't any wires coming out of the amp you're fine.

I install all subwoofers using quick disconnects in the event removal is needed

well both my amps are under my passenger and driver seats. to get to the speaker wire screws is impossible without taking out the seat.
