how to remove rear seat?

does anyone know how to remove the rear seat in a 2001 GMC Seirra? i removed the bolts that hold it to the floor but it still wont budge. anyone know?
If it's anything like my 2001 Silverado Z71, I had 5 bolts total.

I had two on the left floor bracket, two on the right floor bracket and one in the very middle holding these stiff wires that connect to the rear of the seat. I'm guessing you didnt undo this middle bolt, that is if you even have one.

Then it's a matter of some good wiggling and lifting.

ooo i was wondering about that wire, i didnt want to mess with it because it sorta looked like a ground. so its just another bolt to hold in the seat? i hope so cuz i was bout to take a crowbar to it haha, i was trying to get it out because this weekend im going to try building my first box, and i wanted to see how much space i had to work with

Yup, yup, that goes to the rear of the seat. It protects your seat from buckling in a rear-end collision. I removed mine since it got in the way of my amp. I've heard of others removing this also, so I figure it's no worry. Just remove the one bolt until you get the seat out...then there are two bolts on the rear of the seat holding the wires on. Take those off and you're good to go!

If you are interested in cheap boxes, here are some that will fit your truck for a temporary fix.

Here are all the boxes they sell, one might fit in your application.

I'm going to buy a QLogic box that fits my truck later on. They're like $250, kinda steep for a box. If you are dead-set on building, that could be fun, so good luck and post pics!!

Hey man, when I was reinstalling my seat today I snapped some pictures for ya. This is the wire support on the middle rear of your seat...

Remove those two bolts and those wires will come right off, then just reinstall your seat. If you notice on the rear of the back-part of your seat there are two hooks, these need to hook to the rear wall of the truck, this holds the rear of the seat up.

BTW, I just finished my system in my truck. Take a look...
