How to pick the right H.O. Alt

Looking for a new Alternator, how do I know what amperage Alt would be sufficient for my setup? The stock one is about 85-105 amps, setup will include 12" Mag with about 800-1000 watts going to it and in the future front and rear speakers. Input will be appreciated.

add fuse ratings on your amps together and base your decision on that.

shit you can run that on a sock alt and be set. you dont need a HO alt if your stock one puts out 105. ESPECIALLY if you only run 800 watts. just do the big 3 and a nice bat.

Thanks for input guys, I was thinking about getting a 180 amp alt from excessive amperage. Any thoughts about thier products.

Yea I've heard from some people that EA has pretty bad alts.
