How to mount tweeter angle-mounts on dash?

the tweets, the cups dont really give you any more angle, imo.

I was going to use Plumers tape (thin metal strap with holes in it) then apoxy the tweets to that so they can swivel since its flexible... Idk if that would work for the dash but figured id through it out there..

i used too much wire, mine is a poor example and can be done much better, cleanliness also depends on how your dash is

Ah mmkay. Those look like some cups not just the tweets... mine are flat on the bottom. They don't wiggle around too much or nothing?

These are mine

Apillars are a popular location for tweeters since that panel is easily removable. The dash is too low. You want them ear height.

I made them with some PVC. Used a hole saw for the apillar, used modeling clay for the form, covered with fleece. Black so they were not conspicuous outside the car.

The plumbers strap is fine for back mounting. A terminal strip allows for removal.

I used gorilla tape on each corner of my dash....under the speakers but hid the wire....sorta like BlactimusCrime's install

My newest plan is to use solid wood spheres to mount the tweeters off the apillar an inch or two. This is to smooth response by reducing diffraction. The loudspeaker design cookbook 7th Ed. covers this.

Here is my first one with a spare tweeter.

Those are nice reminds me of an eyeball but since most tweeters are pretty much sealed does it really help? I could see helping mids
