How to mod you amps?

Anyone have a how to or a webpage er anything? i have a few amps layin around i wanted to mess with.i searched but the server is to busy apparently. so any help would be appreciated.

What exactly are you wanting to "mod". There's different "levels" of modications.

The simplest is to simply swap the fuses for a larger size. Moderate is typically just cutting out the protection circuitry. More advanced is actually replacing key internal components with different parts.

it can become quite fun when you take certain high power amps, remove their protection circuit, and half *** put a big cap on the outside and watch it catch fire when people try burping .5ohm tones lol:naughty: . give you a cookie if you guess the amp i speak of.

there is no generic how to mod your amp blueprint as most amps have different circuit boards. now if you tell us the amp you have, someone might be able to help you mod the amp you have.

nope, there are 2 possible answers, squeak should know what they are. neither amp is new, and both used to be very widely used in the SPL game.
