How to measure Imp/Box Rise?

I have a DMM and a clamp meter both have the capability of measuring ohm loads/resistance but they can only measure/read the load in a closed circuit, with the truck off whenever I start to play a tone or some music the meters do not read anything. Is there a way to measure the resistance in a live circuit to see how much rise I have. I know people do it but how is it done? And what do I need to do it?

It takes a bit of math to come up with the answer. You would need to know the amps as well as the volts on the output side.Once you know these you divide the volts by amps and this will give you the ohms. That number will be the impeadance rise.Expect a 2-4 times rise in impeadance probably, dependeing on your setup and power.
