how to make my setup sound better?

yea like i say i want to stick with the amp because it gets plenty loud. Just want a smaller box which is on the way. I borrowed the street edge from a friend so if he wants it back ill need to find a sub.

I would focus more on getting quality midbass drivers than on your sub choice. I listen to lots of death metal and music with punchy kick drums, and good midbass drivers make all the difference. I use 4 6.5 inch midbasss drivers in sealed enclosures and I have no need for a sub, as the midbass drivers put out enough energy in the 30-50 hz region. (Yes I realize this region doesn't count as midbass, but the drivers are essentially mini subwoofers). The whole set up will sound way too boomy without strength in the midbass region.
