How to Keep voltage around 14.4

Okay guys so im almost done gathering everything together for my system all thats left is my electrical! I will be running say 3000rms SQ Q1-2200 and AQ Q4-120. My starting batt is Die hard platinum 34/78. So thise of you in this wattage range what seccond batt and alt do you run to keep your voltage in the 14's even at full tilt?

I am interested also. I will be running at most 3200 watts to my subs (total) and I am wondering if there is a way to make voltage stay in the 14s.

Get 300 amps of more and you won't need any rear batteries. Keep it clean and you won't see under 14v.

Bigger alt is more important for 3k than a bank IMO. With the stock 70 amp alt (which is rediculously tiny) and an XS D3100, I'm running 3.5k right now. Voltage never drops below 13.6, but it takes a long time to charge it back up to 14.4.

Bigger alt is more important for 3k than a bank IMO. With the stock 70 amp alt (which is rediculously tiny) and an XS D3100, I'm running 3.5k right now. Voltage never drops below 13.6, but it takes a long time to charge it back up to 14.4.

Give me some of your magic dust. Considering the battery does not take the load unit 12.6 either you have the most bad *** 70amp alt ever made or you are sitting at 8ohms

I heard that the bigger the alt the more strain on the engine and it decreases your mpg... which is why I was gonna get a 270 instead of a 320.... Should I just get the 320? It's only 100$ more... I've already ordered one Kinetic HC2000 (102ah) so I'm gonna have that in the back in addition to my 75ah battery upfront...

Ive been told that alts go hand in hand with batts though? The more alt i have the more batt i need? I was planning on getting 6 phase 320 alt but i was told if i go that way i need more batteries. So im confused. I dont mind spending the $800 for it but if not needed i dont want to.

I'm sitting at 2 ohms. The stock alt was modified by a previous owner and wires to the voltage regulator have been changed. I'm not sure what they did exactly, but it charges at a little over 14.4 when i don't have a system installed. The alternator is dying though, which is why I got a new one. Whatever they did, it shortened the life of the alt.

Its not my majic dust and I would not recomend you try it. I am sure that it is still the stock 70, but it is probably putting out more than that

I might also add that it killed my stock battery under the hood (possibly from high voltage)

My Singer 320 cost $579. Customer service is excelent and I hear its way better than Mechman's. I think customer service and a lifetime warranty (that is actually honored) is worth at least 20 bucks

Its the 6 phase option thats why, theres a conventional option for 569 but i preffer hair pin 6 phase its supposibly alot better and last alot longer.

And its actually $639 the 370A is $800 my mistake. And yea i preffer singer over mechman ive read alot of people do.
