how to install a tachometer??? plz help

yeah so i just purchased my car and it doesnt have a tachometer. i really want one cause its a stick. but umm i dont know how much it would be to install one. or if its easy enough to install myself

its pretty easy.. only like 4 wires... one for power, ground, light if it has one, and one for the coil

yea its a simplistic hookup... u can even swing by your local autozone or pepboys and they should have some inexpensive options and mounting choices of various kinds. decide if you want smaller or unnecessarily large

yep, all you need to do is find the wire sending the tach signal...can crawl up under the dash and try to find it or just tap into it under the hood. much easier to go into the engine, i spent 45 min trying to tap into the wire under the dash and ended up just running one under the hood
