Not trying to smash anyone. You're free to believe in god if you'd like; the deist god is completely inoffensive to me, no matter how improbable.

But let's not pretend like god, or the bible, or creation as described in the bible is fact. And thusly, let's not let dogmatic religion get in the way of your common interest.

There is NO WAY that you can deny all of that evidence, even if you don't like it. I guarentee you that if you did watch it, you are confusing it with another one. It's undeniable.

Cherry picking, straw men, and red herrings, are not evidence. This is the entirety of Hovend's argument when he is not making completely fabricated claims.

Do you consider anyone with a degree (obviously from a non accredited university) in christian education to be an authority on biology, chemistry, physics, geology, astronomy, paleontology, and any other field that this fool is at opposition with?

Could you PLEASE let us know your age and level of "modern and formal" education you have received (outside of the great teachings and education from the bible and faith), and a general idea of your background??

I would only echo this question because i think your acceptance of Hovend's conspiracy theory regarding education is a sign that your haven't ever set foot in a university level science program.

Ok, I have a few reasons on why we could never have come form primates.

1. Why would we change from quadriped to biped, it serves no evolutionary purpose because we become more exposed and slower this way.

2. There could be no way of transport between quad and biped that would be useful for survival.

Also, if everything evolved, then the number of transitional fossils would be ENOURMOUS, and even if the few fossils we have found that are thought to be transitions are transitions, then that still dosen't account for the huge amount of "normal" fossils that we have found.

Also, I want to say that I am very open to other beliefs, and if we dig up enough transitions to cover every transition, ever, than I will become an evolutionist.

Back on the bible thing, I have never had a reason to not believe in God, so tell me one then, like I said, I am very open to new beliefs.

And I am a really slow typer so sorry.

There are a number of decent hypothesis' that could explain bipedalism. We've seen bipedalism due to wading in other species.

Even then, the fact that we do not currently have a definite answer does not, in any way, shape, or form, demonstrate that there is a god. The theory as it stands is still more sensible than that of god.

The tailbone is an attatchment for various muscles, tendons, and ligaments, and also helps to support the body in a sitting position.

And I am by no means shoving religion on anyone, you guys can believe whatever you guys want, but the reason most people are so forceful is because the bible says that we should go and proclaim the word to everyone, but it also says that the Lord must make an unbelievers heart ready for the message. Some people just don't know how to balance both of those aspects of proclaiming the word.

I have to say, its not really worth the time to answer these questions because the answers are all easily available. It is clear you haven't even bothered to read just a little on elementary evolution and anthropology.

The tailbone first off is very similar to the tailbone of creatures with small tails.

Second, the muscle that is connected to the tailbone has the function of flexing the bone, or in animals, wagging or moving it. The muscle that we have on the other hand cannot perform this function.

The same genes that form the tails on mice are responsible for the tailbone in humans.

Human Embroys around a month clearly have recognizable tails, check out pictures if you dont believe me

I still don't see why conserving energy would be a greater asset than being able to defend oneself and move more quickly, but whatever. I need to do some more reading, heck, maybe I'll read something that'll throw me to evolution. You guys win for now.
