I <3 my CRX
so we bought a gas grill last night. i ended up spending 2+hrs trying to put it together. finally i get it all together, hook up the gas and try and light it..nothing. at this point im smelling and hearing gas so i cant understand why its not lighting. keep in mind that i notice the knobs are upside down, im thinking they messed it up at the factory. so i spend another hour and a half trying to figure it out but nothing. today i get up (i work nights) and exchange the tank thinking that is the problem. i get home and hook up the new tank...nothing. so after half an hour or so of cussing i get someone to come over to look at it with me to see if he can find something wrong. he tells me that the gas smell is coming from under the burner, not the burner itself so i get a bottle of soapy water and spray around looking for leaks and sure enough gas is leaking from these nozzles (pointing down in the picture)
so i think back to how conveniently the knobs were off 180 degrees and get back under the grill and take a look at the burner tubes and knobs and sure enough, those nozzles go into the tubes to send gas up to the burner. so i unscrew the knob/valve assembly, flip it and reinstall it...magically the nozzles go into the burner tubes, turn the gas onto ignite and the grill lights up instantly. FAIL is me.
cliffs:
buy new grill
spend 2+hrs assembling it and another 1hr+ cussing bc it wont light
take a closer look and realize burner isnt hooked up
hook up burner
grill starts
great success!
