How to get my parents to like subs

**** ... wish my first car was an Avalanche ... I pimped the 87 escort for a while //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

As said above, start with something small. How about an Assasin or Arsenal 12" ?

It is my own system. It's my truck, they just bought it for me and it's under their name....I'll prob be driving it for 5+ years to college...and I am buying the system unless I can get it from my grandparents for christmas...but I doubt it
Haha, that's so far from being yours its not even funny. Here's an idea champ, I realize it's convenient being sponsored by Mommy and Daddy Autosports but you should really consider going to get yourself a job and buying your own stuff. In the long run, it means alot more.

do your parents own a home theater setup?
nope... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

and the enclosure retails $1370

It is very convenient, because I want to keep the function of the back wall, but it might be too much of a waste of money....

Even if the money is being handed out freely do it yourself, and start paying on the truck.

I understand it's cool to get for free, but if you make money 150-200$ payments for awhile( not even entire cost) like a few years or something and they will be SO SO proud and respect you more then you will ever know, and supply you with life long lesson.

I have to admit that I was given my first car, be it that they just paid >$500, way less.

Not really an option champ...why would I go spend $20,000 on a vehicle alone when they will just buy me one? I know I would take better care of it, but while playing 3 sports in high school I don't have room for a job, and a part time job in college isn't going to buy me a nice vehicle... You should really consider answering the question and not trying to put me down for being a kid still or whatever you're doing. If I was wondering whether I should buy my own vehicle I would have stated that.

its gonna be hard to talk them into it as they don't have any opinion on good sound if they don't even have a home theater setup for the house.

also someone can build an enclosure just like that for WAY WAY cheaper, just ask around your area.

I could do that, I have been working during summers, but I hope that whenever I plan on getting a new vehicle, I can just trade it in and get the new vehicle in my name... thats what they did with my brother I think...
