How to get 1200 watts out of JBL Bp1200.1?

Oh, and using the outside set is fine.

i think u just use one side of the terminals. dont hook it up as if a 2 channel bridge. friend hooked his up like that and it kept going in protection after a few secs

As long as your subs are wired to 2ohm or 1ohm, you are just fine wiring it to the speaker terminals like you have it.

One thing I would recommend though...

Get a pair of RCA y-spliters (1 female to 2male)

Get a signal to all those RCA inputs on the amp. It will help alil.

The wires are fine -- the terminals are in parallel inside the amp. If you get one + and one - hooked up you are good. Installed several of these years ago.

My neighbor has a 300.1 and u need to run rca's to both front and rear inputs if I remember correctly.

its a mono block, meaning all + and - are wired together so it doesnt matter. IE u cannot bridge it,,

oh and u can run that amp at .5 btw

I saw that go horribly wrong once.....

This is how mine has been for years. I did however have a protection problem when I was running 3 12" w6's to it. It was just under 1 ohm and it wold go into protection if I had it up too much. Not a big deal though I was messin around with the w6's and didn't plan on keeping them in there.. maybe like 15 mins total with them in there lol.
