how to fuse with dual inputs?

Just picked up a SAZ-3500 and Im going to run dual inputs to it to feed that bish properly.. i willl have my two power wires for the amp coming off my rear batt in a short run to the amp. i know i dont have to run them, but id rather be safe than sorry soo I do..

anyways, what my question is, the amps fuse rating is 300 A.. should I fuse each wire with a 150 amp fuse? and i already have 180 amp fuses from my previous install could I just use those on each power run from the batt to the amp?

thanks in advance

Jeff

300a in main power run and 300a in each run to the amp
This. You fuse for the capacity of the wire. Plus the current isn't always balanced between the 2 runs, you might have 200A coming across one and 100A on the other, just as an example.
