how should i wire my sub for my amp?

its a profile audio 400MSX mono amp, 600max @2ohms and 400max @4ohms. my sub is a mach5 MAW12, rms is 350watts. should i wire the sub for 2ohm, or 8ohm, the 2ohm load gives it double the power, if i wire it for 8ohms i should be able to turn all my gains up and produce a max of 400watts, 50 more than the rms of the sub which should be ok. alot better than 250 above the rms rating

 
the amp is 300Wrms at 2ohms 200Wrms at 4ohms and 100Wrms at 8ohms

run the amp at 2ohms

put the amp gain at 1/2 and bass boost at +6db and be happy with with it
