How old were you guy's when you got your first equiptment?

17. started about six months ago with car audio, about a year ago with home audio.

And if we're talking audio in general....I was tinkering with subs and home speaker since I was about 13. I built a plywood box with 2 pvc ports, just random size and made 2 holes for a 8" and a 10" polk sub in the same chamber...lmao, sounded like ***

15 Had a Craig tape deck and jensen coax's in rear, and stock speaker in the middle for the front. WOW huh. lol

14 bought my first system it was an alpine hu a 1000 watt sony amp and 2 mtx 12s i installed it in my dads truck so i could sit in the driveway and bump now i live for sound

well my dad used to be into it back when i was a little kid like 7 years old and shit, and he gave me a pyle 12 back then, so i guess i started collecting back then. i was 15 and had a pair of jl10w6's and wanted something to listen to them in but couldnt drive, so i bought an 82 celica for $50 and it sat in my driveway with the subs and a house reciever in it

Id say about 12, I had an Aiwa stereo that I hooked up to an old EQ, got some decent bass out of that, then the addiction grew when my sister got a system, so I got a 2 12inch Visonik Subs and a Visonik 400 watt amp for my room, the batt that I had in my room kept going dead so I decided to actually get a HT setup, and Its still upgrading as I type.
