I'm 18, been doing it since October last year.

Wait, arent you that guy who was a DEI ***** on AF.com in october of last year and claimed you owned a shop and DEI was the best there ever was?

Anyway, My first sub build was a roadmaster 8" back when I was 12. Downhill from there. I've built more enclosures than probably 80% of CA.com's members in the past 5 years and listened to every set up I could get my ears by. It was instilled in me back when I was 8 and my brother was into it. Never got hands on with it untill my parents bought me a JBL receiver for my 11th B-Day.

I am 26 years old, first install was at the age of 11-12 my fathers 83 f-150, rewire common ground and add 6x9's in boxes, took me 2 days to figure out the common ground.I can remember messing with led's and diodes when i was 7-8.burnign stuff up and learning from that.. fixing burnt traces on pcb's and such,glad my dad let me learn instead of just jumping in and fixing it himself.

Started installing as a career at 16yrs old, have been doing it ever since.

Im into everything, SQ/SQL/SPL/BBQ/ whatever..

In my personal cars, well I have a spl van( 4mt18's,21,000rms)

sq car ( focals,old soundstream,880prs,2 12's)

sql car (2 10's,lots of power,450rms each front corner,dls,quartz,a/d/s)

that is all

at age 6 my dad got me a little thing that was sapposed to teach you how to make basic circuts. It was pretty nifty. Basically a transformer, RM Modulator, a bunch of resistors, transistors, capacitors, and a variable resistance knob and a speaker. I worked on that thing and did every circut in the book that came with it plus more.
