20...been into car audio since i got my license at 17...first system was two dual 10's in a premade plexi bandpass and a crap panasonic HU...

I am 32. I did my first system at 16. Had a Pull-out Apline Casset deck with CDT 6.5's and 2 12" Pioneer subs and a Rockford Fosgate Punch 45 and Punch 150. By 18 (1993) I had a Apline CD player, with all Orion HCCA amps and 12 XTR 12" woofers. Blew my windshield out with that system. Now at 32 I am down to a single 15" Stereo Integrity sub, Peerless Exclusive 8" midranges, and Peerless HDS tweeters, with Arc Audio XXK amps and my beloved Eclipse 8053! Went from an all out Boom at 18 to a SQ freak at 32. But I can still be loud enough to get a ticket lol.

What I find funny is people pay big money for certain Old school amps, that at the time when they were new, many were considered JUNK!

me, im 18, installed my sister's head unit at 14, and screwed around with my 1972 satellite - amped the 6x9s in the back, 2 4" speakers up front, ran off of a kenwood head unit, it was f'in loud, but it was just mids and highs, no bass at all...in my alero (17) i started off with a base kenwood system, upgraded everything to excelon, and then moved to explore different brands like memphis, treo, diamond, rainbow, ascendant audio, etc

long story. i sold 1 ounce of weed to an under cover informant. bonded out. got raided while awaiting sentencing 6 months later, where they found just under a pound of weed and 8,000$ in the same case. escaped from the county jail a few months later and ran to arizona, where i lived with a girl i met for 2 years. all said and done i got 7 1/2 years. went to bootcamp and served 5 or so of my 7 1/2. got out on parole at 27 and have served 4 years now on parole. 1 to go!!! the first time i'll be a completely free man will be at 32 years old. i am as excited as a pig in shit.

I am 26 years old, first install was at the age of 11-12 my fathers 83 f-150, rewire common ground and add 6x9's in boxes, took me 2 days to figure out the common ground.

I can remember messing with led's and diodes when i was 7-8.burnign stuff up and learning from that.. fixing burnt traces on pcb's and such,glad my dad let me learn instead of just jumping in and fixing it himself.

Started installing as a career at 16yrs old, have been doing it ever since.

Im into everything, SQ/SQL/SPL/BBQ/ whatever..

In my personal cars, well I have a spl van( 4mt18's,21,000rms)

sq car ( focals,old soundstream,880prs,2 12's)

sql car (2 10's,lots of power,450rms each front corner,dls,quartz,a/d/s)
