how my 12inch ported box its half done!!

It looks good for your first efforts. Looks like you took the time to stage your cuts. I also think sanding the additional caulk off of the bonding surfaces is a good call. Not everyone is a master box builder(including myself) but you get better over time. I am building probably my 20th box now and still make mistakes. Access to the right tools makes a world of difference also. And for everyone that had something negative to say should post a pic of there version of the correct way to do it.

X2

Thats how it works.

You cant read a welding book, then go lay a perfect tig!!!

Spray the port black atleast- maybe wrap it with a cool spongebob sheet from wally world:veryhapp:

Joking, you have an audio shop near? get some carpet? vallure?

i was thinking of some cheap fabric from walmart what material should i use that could stick well with that glue that you spray??
Try some textured paint or even some roll on bedliner. I have seen a fewdone with it and it actually looks pretty good.

Wally World has black or grey carpet for $9 in the auto section. Port wall looks farther back from the front then the outer wall on the right. If so that could be a problem...

looks good for your first box, it takes time...I still mess my angle cuts up and I've built about 10-12 boxes so far, it's all about having the right tools and paitence...well theres skill in there too

Wally World=Its a magical amusement park that the griswalds go to visit in the 80's but its closed so they break in and john candy tries to stop them and gets shot with a bb gun. There, now you know.

In order to answer your question, I would need to know what model (e.g. SW4200, SW7524DVC). Also, are you looking to make a ported box or sealed?
