Just north of Dallas: ours is worth about $270K and I have over 3000 sq ft. Great area, great schools, abundant golf . . . can't beat it (except that **** commute, but oh well.)same as a million dollar home anywhere? A house here in iowa that just sold for $2.5mill would prolly bring like $15mill in nyc or LA etc. A $180k house here, would prolly cost a mill in the LA //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.
How big of house there can ya get for say, $250k?
My house is 1500sqft with a full basement and attc both unfinished. 75X100 lot. Put on the opposite side of the same town it would go to about 600K.Just out of curiosity, what does 425K buy you up there (Sqft)?
Not too shabby //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.Just north of Dallas: ours is worth about $270K and I have over 3000 sq ft. Great area, great schools, abundant golf . . . can't beat it (except that **** commute, but oh well.)
Many of the people who work with me at Lowe's cashed out of homes in fast growing areas and 'retire' here. I would have to know what kind of home you wanted, but I would guess you could get a similar home for $250k. Size of home would depend on whether you wanted a subdivision or 'out'.So I would live decently there if I sold my $425K home here?
Add about 300 square feet, an acre of land, full hardwood floors and marble (real) counter tops...Maybe $300k. I am talking about Murfreesboro (suburbia USA). In Nashville, it would be about the same.My house is 1500sqft with a full basement and attc both unfinished. 75X100 lot. Put on the opposite side of the same town it would go to about 600K.

A few months ago, I saw a 3 bdrm 1500sqft + indoor pool, in a good neighborhood for $320. House was in good/very good shape. You could also pwn all the shops here, if you were to open one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif.My house is 1500sqft with a full basement and attc both unfinished. 75X100 lot.
