so my old roomate, started dating my ex-gf of 3 years, that's when he became my ex-roomate.(as seen in this thread: http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=168769 )

and this is quoted from the local newspaper...

"Westland police are investigating an armed robbery and carjacking that occurred early Thursday on Flamingo, a residential street on the city's north side.

 

 

In Westland, a gunman approached a man and robbed him about 3:40 a.m. Thursday as he was leaving his parents' house with his girlfriend in a neighborhood southeast of Joy and Merriman roads, police Sgt. Jeff Trzybinski said.

 

The gunman then demanded that the couple, in their 20s, give up the keys to a Chevy S-10 pickup that he used to escape, Trzybinski said.

 

No shots were fired and no one was injured during the incidents.

 

"The people were minding their own business, and this guy approached them with a handgun," Trzybinski said.

 

The gunman took the man's wallet before demanding the keys to the pickup truck, the detective said."

a. he didn't get shot, and neither did she, so what does it matter?

b. if he did, i would post it and it would be more like "wow, that sucks, my old bestfriend just got murdered"

c. so you're telling me that if this girl treated you like absolute shit, and your best friend started dating and kept it behind your back you'd be cool with him? grow up. I have never once said he couldn't date her. It just would've been nice if he would've let me know "hey i'm dating your ex, don't want you to find out through someone else". Be a man about it, don't stab me in the back.

Dating ex girlfriends is an unwritten no-no. Its just unethical IMO. Although if you dated some chick for a few weeks, then your buddy took over when your done- its all good. But a "friend" taking over a relationship that youve invested years into just isnt right. I had it happen to me and it doesnt feel good. At least he was man enough to admit to it, prior to me finding out the hardware. Friendship of 18+ yrs..done.

respect. Had a friend do it to me. Except i walked in on him about to get his thing on with my ex. He started laughing saying, "dude, this has been happening for a while".

Well, (and i really dont know how it happened ) he got a broken nose in those close moments after saying that. Seeing it now it was dumb to act out on that like how i did.

It just hurts from a whole different way when a friend does it.
