How much would a turbo cost for my ranger?

Oh my fuking god, shut the fuk up. That isn't relavant at all. Its a ****ing $20k+ custom built engine and turbo setup...
i could show you a faster vw bug, but it wouldnt matter,so stfu.
Lol, you said the 4.6 would be impossible to flow like 590 or something and this engine is half the size.

NATURALLY ASPIRATED MEANS WITHOUT ANY KIND OF FORCED INDUCTION

impossible if its naturally aspirated. meaning not turbo no supersharger
i was just ****ing around with the evo thing, it was just a joke. I figured marly would freak out since they were talking about n/a

Kinda sorta but not really. Only the import world works in stages... And even then, most don't do that.

Also, turbo kits add more than 40-50hp...get outta the import world man..
5-6psi will net around 40-50whp depending on the transmission and other things. And if your buying a kit you can usualy get them in 'packages' or 'stages' depending on what your going for.

Your an idiot, engine size doesnt mean jack shit. I know plenty of 1.8l honda's putting out 400+whp that smoke big block chevys. So whats your god **** point. Theres only so much you can do to the 2v 4.6l engine.

Obviously you don't read much. They were talking about engine size in n/a setups and i posted about a FI setup pushing more power then half that engine to get a rise out of him since its two diffrent things. good try though.

5-6psi means nothing. Its the cfm it flows that matters. 5-6psi on a LS1 is around 450rwhpish. On a civic thats around 40-50rwhp, because of the airflow, not the psi though.

Forced induction is forced induction no mater what way you look at it, even bringing that up made you look dumber then you already appeared. Wow.

forced induction is forced induction? thats the dumbest thing ive read today. what about a supercharger using engine power to produce more power is the same as a turbo spooling up from AIR? where is it anywhere NEAR the same thing.....

It is still forcing air into the engine, regardless. Hell, you can "supercharge" air with just a properly designed intake manifold.

The only real difference is the energy used to produce the result.

Theyre all forcing air into the cylinders, thus FORCED INDUCTION meaning AIR BEING FORCED INTO THE ENGINE. The way its done is a completely different topic then what we're talking about.

But we're talking about a 3.0l 6cyl so 40-50whp is pretty realistic depending on the supporting mods.
