Okay i dont do any car stereo comps. I would like to start, but im not sure i want to do that route.

but i love the thought of running (8) 8" kodas'

But is that really overkill for somone who just wants some sq, that bumps too?

I like 10"s and i want to stay kinda cheap and i can buy (4) 8" for under 400 bucks, and go pick up a amp to power them?

But would this really be overkill? Does anyone have the koda 8's to tell me how they sound?

And what amp should i run.

I belive it is 150Rms so that is like a 600 wat amp?

Im guessing thats 1gauge wire, with a new alt, ect. Well thanks guys

For 600 watts you can get away fine with 4 gauge wiring, and probably a stock alt, unless your current one is super small.

i think he wants to run 2-600 watt amps with 4-8's on each one. maybe i'm wrong but didn't you say you wanted 8 8's? i'd say 1/0ga and the big 3 and see how your alt does. maybe get a better battery.

I want to get a "red top" i belive, and i have a 1986 bronco 2 everything is stock, so im going to try it out for a bit. but i sitll cant find any amps to power these subs.

and im thinking 1 amp for ever 4 subs.
