How much in TOTAL you've spent on YOUR Car Audio

Since I have been into audio, which has been since I was able to drive at 16, I am pushing the 30k mark. I had one car close to 6g's and another pushing 5. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I have had over 20 plus cars since then, and a system in almost every one of them besides my imp with the hydro's on it.

Not even sure... Started driving close to 10 years ago when I turned 16 and had my first system in it before I could drive. I buy and sell a lot of it, so some of the money spent is redundant, but looking at how much I've spent of new money, I'd say close to $12k. Counting money that came from the sale of old systems, etc, I'd say closer to $20k. My current setup:

Alpine 9887- $320

Alpine SPX-17PRO- $400

Alpine MRV-F545- $225

Alpine MRD-M1005- $225

DB Electrical 200A alt- $215

Dynamat- $225

Wiring, etc- $200

Build supplies- $250

Total- $2060... that's a rough estimate but close I'm sure. And I'm sure I've done that 10 times easily, but some of the money comes from the sale of old items... probably about half of the $2k on this particular build.

Amps: two 2500d's.....$850

Wire: $100

Install stuff for 4 years: $300

Total: $1780 spent net.

Wow.....Didn't think it was that much.....Shit.

This summer: Two HDc3's = $600+or- and then wood and install stuff = $100-200

So $800 more this summer.

Probable a couple batteries and a new alty soon too. So $600 or so there.

****. I just threw up a little in my mouth thinking about all the cash I have dropped on this.

well thats an interesting question. at one point i had a 97 suburban with 18,000 in it, but it was a shop vehicle... as far as money i have put into my own stuff i would say between 13,000 and 15,000. hard to tell.

I started buying caraudio in 1990 (any of you old timers remember TMS electronics?)

To date I'd say I've spent +or- $20K and right about now I wish I could get $16K back.

if u take into consideration that the average paycheck in my country is somewhere around 700-800 $ then the sum of 5-6 k$ is ridiculous..and no im not a rich spoiled brat, i just love this hobby way too much..way too much
