How much improvement would I see

If I were to clean up my install a bit? I just upgraded my sub amp and it seems like I should be feeling the bass a little more after roughly tripling my RMS. When I got it today off course I ripped my old amp out and installed the new one but I did get kinda shi*** on the install though it's dual inputs so I had to get another set of pos and ground and luckily I had another 200 amp fuse and holder but I went sloppy and just crimped ring terminals but I didn't solder them. The four runs are connected to my yellow top in the trunk. A few other things I need to do are upgrade my sub wiring it's still 12 AWG I have some 8 guage and I only have one run of 1/0 CCA going to my isolator in the back from my starting battery. I have the 200 amp alternator but am wanting to add a second and my big 3 is done in 1/0 CCA (all the CCA is belva brand) then there's also getting the second yellow top in the trunk as well as deading my trunk and lastly and most tricky upgrading all CCA to OFC. Can anyone tell me in what order those upgrades would help the most? My amp is a twisted sounds ts3.5k and it's pushing two dd redline 712s.

You got some good equipment...****** install as you said. If you rush it, it's gonna look like crap. Tell me why you feel the need to upgrade the speaker wire from 12 to 8 gauge? It's certainly not gonna make a difference. What MIGHT make a difference is the CCA you used and go all out with OFC. What kind of enclosure are the subs in? How many cubes is it? Who built it? Need more info. What's your dog's name? You gotta sister? Ok ok you get the idea...

Wow dude.. embarrassing on so many levels.

1-is your gain set right, Whats the voltage drop looking like?

2-Crimp is fine thats not gonna make any audible difference between soldered and well crimped.

3-8 gauge wont make any difference either.

4-Belva wire isnt that good but it shouldn't affect output noticeably either being 2 gauge instead of actual 0 gauge.

5-Your box can run into compression if port area is not high enough when adding more power.

6- whats your head unit or how do you get signal to the subs?

7-Whats your head unit/signal line?

My gain is at 12 o'clock and my box is the q bomb spl one ( I know I built my own but when I cut the holes for the subs to website specs they were way too big so I just settled for now) my head unit is a pioneer avh-3300bt and my rcas are the ones that came with the belva kit(on the surface cheap Rockford rcas they seem like) didn't get a chance to measure the voltage but my headlights weren't dimming on full tilt. I had the gain in the 2 o'clock position but I smelled sub so I backed it down. I will probably let the local shop tune my subsonic gain etc so I don't run my equipment. Off topic for my original post but does anyone know of any highly recommended 5x7/6x8s?

That HU puts out 4 volts....gain on amp is set too high. Glad you mentioned the gain on the amp was at 2'oclock position...that's way too high. HU should match voltage to amp.

Put DMM on amp and slowly turn gain up until you see 59.160 on DMM, or close to it.
