Are you the dude that had the single 12 in the white car at that show in Richmond a few sundays ago? I was surprised by yours.. Im running a single beefier 12 on more power and its still quieter. lol
Yep that would be be. What's ya run and meter? Mine was sealed too

I havent metered it.. but it doesnt hit lows like yours does. My box is smaller. Its 1.7~ or so cubes with 16 sqin of port per cube. When I try to play stuff around 30hz, I can hear the sub moving but not much happening lol I may have too much port.

Current system the last time it was metered was a legal score, 153.1 db @ 43 hz. 2 IA DP 18's on 2 RD D9's both at 0.9 ohms nominal (didnt clamp so I don't know rise or actual power) on 6 XS Power D3100's and a D3400, stock 130a alt.

New upcoming system consists of Four (4) Tantric Sounds SHD 18's c-pillar flat wall, 2 American Bass 1100.1's both at .35 ohms nominal, powered by 2 Streetbeat Customz 320a and a Singer 350a H/O alts, 10-12 XS Power D3100's. Hoping for 58+ db. Would be nice to get a 160 out of a c-pillar wall. Lol

and you know that pyramid is pushing some jensen triax's...
heyyy waatch it now...those things scream. I remember a kid in HS that ran a pyramid/jensen 3 way 6x9 set up with the 6x9's propped up under the front edge of the seats. I actually sounded blaringly good on one passage in one song. You could always hear him from 50 ft away blasting the opening passage from Dire Strait's Money For Nothing..talk about a blast from the past.

My HU is a dead head with zero watts, you lose.
I bet it sounds better than the others though!

Warhorse that I will be using all of when I get to swap the subs out. 900.4 on mids/highs. I should be running roughly 10k daily for 2 15s and 2 sets of components //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

No, you don't have enough enclosure volume. Port is just about right.

You don't have near enough power or cone area to hope for a 160 C pillar.

Van here has 8 15s on 6k and does a solid 156 sealed on the dash. Thing is a monster. I can't wait for them to burn up the old subs and move to the new ones so they wire down to 1ohm and actually run 12k like they should be. Still don't expect 160s though.

That said, I'm building 8 15s in an S-10 Blazer on 10k B pillar and hope to be at 160 musically.

Sundown SA-15 on a KAC-9105d on one ohm. I'm staying pretty conservative with the gain right now, so I'm not really running my amp's potential. Waiting for an o-scope to check for clipping, and I'm going to wait to crank it until my new box is done.. I'm working on a new design right now.
