How many watts can i get with a 300A alt?

I'm limited to one alternator for my class, and i wasn't sure what this caps my wattage at. I was wanting to push about 3000 watts to each of my DD 9510s. So roughly 6k.

The alternator will charge your batteries and your batteries will power the amps.

Is there a limit on batteries in your class? What class and what organization? What amps?

With only 6K you can use an upgraded battery and stock alternator. Or if you wanted to maximize power from your amps, You can step up to 2) Kinetik 16v batteries and a 16v alternator to charge them. 300A would be able to charge a nice big bank of these batteries maybe 20 or more.

USAC street beat 1 is what i'll be competing in.

Theres no limit on batts, i was gonna upgrade the one up front and then throw in 4 yellowtops in the back.

The 16v kinetic is a 16.9v batt and would have to charge @ 18.9v to maintain the battery from your cars set up. Is this gonna be a comp only or a daily too. The alt and more batteries would be your best bet. 300amp alts will heat up fast and drop in out put quick. I would charge them good before comps so you don't rely solely on the alt.
